A full Catholic journalism portal built from scratch — Vatican content feeds, liturgical calendar, article publishing system, and a design that honours the depth of the faith.
The Story
Fabiano had been running a Catholic apostolate through Instagram and WhatsApp for years — sharing daily saints, Vatican news, liturgical reflections, and resources for faith formation. The community was growing, but the tools weren't keeping up. Instagram's algorithm buried his content; WhatsApp broadcasts had no search, no archives, no depth.
He came to AMDG Core with a clear vision: a home for orthodox Catholic content that would serve his community for years to come. No WordPress, no generic Catholic templates, no compromises on the editorial experience. He wanted something that looked and felt as serious as the mission itself.
We built a living platform — one where content flows automatically from the Vatican, the liturgical calendar updates daily without any manual work, and the community has a proper home on the internet that reflects the beauty and depth of the Catholic faith.
What We Built
Split Video Header
A signature design element: two looping videos split left and right, joined by a central parallelogram bearing the logo. Unique in Catholic media.
Vatican Content Feeds
Automated cron every 15 minutes pulling Vatican RSS news, official YouTube content, and Instagram posts directly into the site — zero manual publishing required.
Liturgical Calendar Ticker
Live auto-scrolling strip at the top of every page showing the day's liturgical data — supporting both the Novus Ordo and the Extraordinary Form of the Mass.
Santo do Dia & Grupo Lepanto
A full daily saint page sourced from Vatican data, plus a dedicated section for the Lepanto study group — a prayer and apologetics community in Ceará, Brazil.
Pix Apostolado Donation
"Ajude Nosso Apostolado" button with an inline dropdown, QR code for scanning, and a one-click copy for the Pix key — frictionless giving for Brazilian supporters.
Supabase CMS & Article System
Full editorial publishing system: article pages, categories, site-wide search, and a Materiais section for downloadable faith formation resources — all powered by Supabase.
